BASED IN NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, BRIDGESTONE AMERICAS, INC. (BSAM) IS THE U.S.-BASED SUBSIDIARY OF BRIDGESTONE CORPORATION. TODAY, BRIDGESTONE AMERICAS CONSISTS OF AN INTERNATIONAL FAMILY OF ENTERPRISES WITH 37 PRODUCTION FACILITIES AND MORE THAN 50,000 TEAMMATES
Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Bridgestone Americas consists of an international family of enterprises with 37 production facilities and more than 50,000 teammates throughout the Americas.

We have multiple manufacturing facilities that have received the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) highest honor. Many Bridgestone facilities have earned Voluntary Protection Program STAR status, OSHA’s highest honor. In addition to awards for quality and safety from major automotive manufacturers in the state, we are a multi-year recipient of the TN Governor’s Award for Excellence. Our goal is to maintain safe, accident-free workplaces. Each day, every teammate should go home from work in the same condition in which they came. Thanks to the diligence of our teammates, Bridgestone maintains an outstanding safety record.
COMMUNITY
At Bridgestone Americas, corporate responsibility is at the heart of everything we do. From our commitment to the environment through programs like Tires4ward, to our certified wildlife habitats like the Bridgestone Environmental Education Classroom & Habitat (BEECH) at the Warren County Tire Plant that provides a hands-on environmental learning center for students, we are aiming to improve the way people move, live, work and play – in our local communities and around the globe.
Demonstrating our commitment to being good neighbors, teammates share their time, resources, and talents with local organizations through philanthropy, volunteerism, and leadership every year.
The Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund, established as a charitable trust in 1952 by The Firestone Tire & Rubber Company, proudly supports a wide variety of important nonprofit and civic organizations in the U.S., particularly in those markets we call home, donating millions of dollars to meet community needs through grants and other contributions.
While contributions are made to more than 150 organizations each year, both the Trust Fund and company donations are intended to focus on organizations with missions supporting Bridgestone’s three priority areas: People, Mobility and the Environment.
Additionally, the teammate matching gifts program and scholarship program for teammates’ children is funded by the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund.
.The Bridgestone Teammate Assistance Fund, which provides both grants and loans to teammates facing extraordinary challenges, is fully supported through teammate contributions and fundraising.
